2023, Brooklyn, NY.
I am a writer and audio producer.
At the moment, I am working on a book about art in the American South. I am represented by Sam Stoloff and Alison Lewis at Frances Goldin Literary Agency.
Recently, I was a visiting scholar at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University, where my work was supported by the Matthew Power Literary Reporting Award.
In the past, I wrote and produced for KUOW and NPR’s noontime show, Soundside. I also produced an audio documentary about Black, avant-garde classical composers for Afropop Worldwide, a Peabody Award-winning radio show. I’ve written scripts, scored, and produced episodes for a wide range of radio programs, narrative shows, and audio documentaries.
I have also exhibited video and audio artwork at the Armory Center for the Arts in Los Angeles, California. You can learn more about that here.
I received a master’s degree from Columbia Journalism School. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned Departmental Honors from The American University of Paris.
I speak French and love literature, art, and spending time in nature.
